The Roger Hill Band

The RHB was the natural continuation of Roger’s career after leaving The Chris Barber Jazz Band in 1987. Roger’s telephone book of back line contacts was extensive and he employed the very best people he could find for each gig. The talent on Sorcery-Live! showcases such luminaries as Roger Innis (bass guitar), Tony Baylis (drums), Roy Adams (drums), John O’Connor (bass guitar), Tony Stewart (bass guitar) and even a guest vocal spot from Steve Gibbons on Ain’t She Sweet. During a period of over 20 years, RHB performed at a variety of venues in and around the Midlands but also further afield – including the 1997 Labour Party Conference in Bournemouth. RHB attracted many loyal fans who knew they would be guaranteed a fabulous night of musical excellence and they were never disappointed.

Coming Soon: The Psikix were a five piece band who wrote and performed their own material in and around Birmingham during the early 1980s. Their style was a lively combination of punk, pop and ska which was brought together in a truly original fashion. Although they made many recordings and had a huge local following they never quite managed to secure the record deal they so deserved. SAM Records is looking to right this wrong. Discussions are ongoing.
